Ted Miller is a socially-conscious and visionary leader with an impressive background in nonprofit organizations, congressional leadership, and presidential administrations. He is a Senior Vice President of Development and External Affairs at Cancer Support Community (CSC), where he managed to secure free housing for over 3,000 patients traveling for cancer treatment through a partnership with Airbnb. Ted's political career started as a Presidential appointee in President Obama's administration for the Corporation for National and Community Service - AmeriCorps. He then went on to lead the National Partnerships and Nonprofit Expertise team, and Thought Leadership, Integrated Fundraising, and Change Management for NARAL Pro-Choice America.
Ted's early career includes senior-level roles with Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle, then-Rep. Sherrod Brown of Ohio, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. He also served President Clinton's administration and the department of Agriculture. Moreover, he participated in The President's Leadership Workshop, a competitive invitation-only program that featured President Obama alongside public and private-sector leaders. With a B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas, Ted's experience in journalism helped him land his unique and award-winning projects on millennials' views on abortion. His dynamic leadership and visionary mindset continue to drive social changes.
