Ted Gervan is a seasoned professional in the creative arts and technology space with 20 years of experience in post-secondary leadership and the creative economy. He has a passion for promoting access opportunities for students at all stages of their career, particularly those who need it the most. Ted is a graduate of Simon Fraser University and has a post-graduate diploma in Computer Animation - Technical Director from Sheridan College and a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Fine Art from McMaster University. He has developed a broad range of specialties, with expertise in relationship development systems, sustainable enrollment management, business acceleration, fundraising, grant writing, creative activity and research, partner development, on-campus industry partnerships and post-secondary block transfer agreements. Ted is currently the Dean of Fine and Applied Arts at Capilano University and has held various leadership roles in different institutions, including VP Education at Vancouver Film School and Acting Dean at Capilano University's Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts.
