Paul York
Paul York is an accomplished student affairs professional with a diverse background in various areas of higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, also from Indiana University.
With extensive experience in Title IX, emergency response and crisis management, career and professional development advising, campus activities, residential education, academic advising, orientation, and first-year experience programming, alcohol and drug education, and campus recreation, York is a true generalist in the field.
As an Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Texas A&M University-Central Texas, York's responsibilities include fostering student leadership development, serving as a student advocate, supporting student growth, responding to student misconduct and students of concern, and developing positive relationships with community neighbors and parents.
His research interests lie in the finance of higher education, management of higher education, student indebtedness, and policy development in higher education. When he's not working, he enjoys folding paper airplanes, cycling, and advocating for outdoor activities.
