Mihai Fonoage is an accomplished computer scientist and healthcare technology innovator with a passion for driving change and progress in the medical field. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Technical University of Cluj Napoca.

Fonoage is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Modernizing Medicine, a leading developer of electronic medical record and practice management systems. He has held several positions within the company, including Senior Director of Mobile Development and Associate Vice President of Mobile Strategy and User Experience.

Fonoage is also an active member of the tech community, having served as a Board Member of the Nova Southeastern University College of Computing and Engineering and the Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University. He also served as an Executive Board Member and Chair of the Education & Talent Committee at South Florida Tech Hub.

Fonoage's innovative work in healthcare technology has earned him recognition as a Plato Mentor for Engineering Leadership, as well as positions with Motorola, Inc. and Lance Software.
