Jeff Westsmith

Jeff Westsmith is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in providing investment advice to wealthy families and institutional investors. As a Founding Partner of IEQ Capital, he plays a key role in guiding investment strategies and decisions.

With a solid background in finance, Mr. Westsmith's career commenced at Fidelity Investments, where he worked with high net worth families. He later transitioned to Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group before co-founding Luminous Capital in 2008.

During his time at Luminous Capital, Jeff Westsmith distinguished himself as a Financial Adviser and a member of the Investment Committee. His efforts contributed to managing $5.5 billion of assets until the firm was acquired by First Republic Bank in 2012. Subsequently, at First Republic Bank, he held the position of Managing Director and Wealth Manager.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Westsmith is actively involved in giving back to the community. He supports organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP) and the South-Central Scholars Fund, showcasing his commitment to philanthropy and social causes.
