With a Master of Science in Technical Medicine with a focus on Robotics and Imaging, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Medicine from Universiteit Twente, Maarten has a solid educational foundation to drive meaningful change in the healthcare industry.

Maarten's expertise extends to various roles at Lightpoint Medical, where he has served as the Medical Affairs Manager, Clinical Research Lead, and Application Specialist, showcasing his leadership and multidisciplinary skills.

Prior to his current roles, Maarten also gained valuable experience as a PhD Candidate at King's College London, undertook graduate and clinical internships at respected healthcare institutions like Medisch Spectrum Twente and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, and even shared his knowledge as a Tennis Coach at China Elite Training Academy.
