Joy Ebertz is a senior staff engineer with an impressive background that spans over a decade of software engineering experience. She studied Computer Science and Mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where her passion for solving problems and working in collaborative environments started. With a minor in music, Joy is also an artistic soul, and when not coding, she enjoys reading, writing and running as she recently got into ultrarunning. Before joining Split, Joy held several positions at Box, including engineering manager and senior staff software engineer. She has also worked as a software developer at Microsoft and Lat22 and as an undergraduate research assistant at MIT CSAIL. Besides her technical prowess, Joy is committed to increasing the number of women and minorities in Computer Science.
