With a Master's in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a BS in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of Mumbai, Chitra has had an impressive career leading various successful ventures.

Before joining Goodstory, where she served as Principal for Strategic Impact & Communications, Chitra served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Communications Officer at Gem. She successfully led the company's strategic pivots, earning over 200 pieces of media coverage with 200 million views, and building unique social media engagement focused on inclusive community-building.

Chitra's had an outstanding impact on Palantir Technologies, where she worked in various senior roles, including Strategic Initiatives, Alliances, & Impact and Senior Advisor to CEO. Her initiatives helped Palantir overcome significant obstacles and positioned it to achieve a multi-billion-dollar valuation. She played an instrumental role in cultivating and landing Palantir's first significant reference customers, conceiving, launching, and amplifying Palantir's social impact vertical, and executing Palantir's first major communications win on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.

Prior to her corporate forays, Chitra was a nationally recognized journalist specializing in national security and law enforcement issues, with stints at NPR, U.S. News & World Report, and WTTW/Chicago PBS.
