Olivia Muiru is a seasoned professional with a rich background in sustainability, having supported companies across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Currently serving as an Independent Consultant, Olivia aids both businesses and nonprofits in incorporating positive practices into their operations and business models.

Prior to her current role, she held the prestigious positions of Founding Director and Executive Director at B Lab East Africa, an organization dedicated to advancing the B Corp movement and catalyzing economic systems change.

Under her leadership, B Lab E.A. collaborated with over 1,000 companies in the region, guiding them in measuring and managing their impact.

Olivia Muiru's outstanding contributions have been recognized through various accolades, such as being named a Skoll Fellow, Top 40 Under 40 Women in Business in Kenya in 2018, and being among the Top 100 Most Influential Young Kenyans in 2018 and 2019 for her exceptional work in Social Entrepreneurship.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise from United States International University.

Additionally, Olivia is an alumna of the Emerging Leadership Initiative by Skoll Foundation and Mastercard Foundation.

Her experience also extends to being an Audit Intern at Deloitte East Africa and a Manager of Global Partnerships at B Lab.
