José Luis Capdevila Echeverria is a scientist and engineer with a versatile and dynamic background. He holds a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has working experience in both international academic and industrial environments in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors.

With expertise in managing projects related to chemical engineering, physical chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, process development, process modeling/simulation/optimization, and more, José Luis has made a name for himself in multiple industries. He is also knowledgeable in business administration and leading digital transformation in organizations.

In addition, he has experience in marketing and strategy in the banking sector, and possesses certain knowledge in materials science, solid-state sciences, separation techniques, catalysis, and flow chemistry.

He is a former Researcher at ICIQ, Ferrer, and DAAD RISE Researcher at Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. He has also worked as R&D Researcher and Marketing & Strategy Consultant.
