As a Channel Account Manager for the New Zealand, Queensland, Northern Territory and Pacific Island Regions, I am responsible for Trend Micro's Channel Partner Management and Business Development. After working in entertainment sales for a number of years, my role progressed and gained significantly more responsibility. It was my duty to sell and manage consumer Telstra services (mobile, mobile broadband, and home bundles). The role carried a quota for not only hardware sales but contract conversions. As part of this role I had to manage the customers expectations and experiences through consistent communication with both the end user and Telstra. This role required management, negotiation, and strong verbal communication skills. This role was the foundation of my account management skill set that I will continue to develop throughout my career.

Telecommunications Account Manager - Telstra

During a 4 month internship as an Investment Coordinator at Bohemia Group, responsibilities and management skills were key attributes required for the role. Responsibilities tasked included daily distribution of television ratings, TV campaign reports, press, radio, OOH and digital project management and tracking. Multitasking a variety of projects and duties kept my interest and passion growing, allowing me to tackle a number of different media elements. At Bohemia I had a number of managers that required urgent completion of tasks, many of which had concurrent deadlines requiring superior organisational skills. During my time at the agency I was expected to have the ability to work autonomously, and own and complete projects. I pride myself in leaving ‘no stone unturned’. I am passionate about getting it right and will work tirelessly to ensure that happens both through individual endeavors and in group situations.

Customers are the heart of all hardware purchases and telecommunication contracts, so it’s clear putting the customer first is undoubtedly a mandatory for success and growth.
