John Haffner is a highly experienced sustainability executive hailing from Hong Kong, with a focus on Asia, including China, Japan, and Southeast Asian markets. He has an impressive educational background that includes two law degrees from McGill University, with a call to the bar in the Province of Ontario, and has also been a lecturer in Climate Change and Energy Law at McGill's Faculty of Law. Additionally, he has diverse experiences as a consultant and lawyer, spanning over two decades in the cleantech, infrastructure, and sustainability spheres. Haffner is also a Yale World Fellow and an Asia Society Asia 21 Young Leader.
