Rachel McCarthy is an experienced education specialist with a passion for development in the Asia-Pacific region. She holds a Master's degree in Communication, Journalism & Public Relations from The University of Queensland, a Master's in International Relations from Griffith University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Creative Industries, with a focus on Performance & Japanese, from Queensland University of Technology.

Rachel has an extensive background in education and has worked with organizations such as UNICEF and UNESCO, among others. She has held various roles such as Education Officer, Consultant, and Programme Assistant. Additionally, Rachel has had experience in event coordination at TED Conferences, as well as lecturing and tutoring roles at Thammasat University and Griffith University, respectively.

With her long-standing interest in education development, coupled with her expertise in communication and international relations, Rachel is well-equipped to make significant contributions to the field.
