João Salada is an experienced computer vision developer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. He currently leads the AI/Computer vision team at Reveal Media, where he focuses on developing the next generation of computer vision technology for body-worn cameras in the security forces sector. Prior to that, João worked as a tech lead at InnSpect from InnoWave, where he managed a team of 18 engineers and developers to deploy the solution at various clients worldwide. His extensive experience, resilience, and passion for crafting technology have helped him overcome complex challenges in software development.

João possesses expertise in C#, C++, Python, OpenCV, Windows, Linux, Facial Recognition and Detection, License Plates Recognition, git, and Azure. He completed his studies in Communication Networks Engineering, Computer Architecture, Networks and Systems, and holds a master's degree from Instituto Superior Técnico and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Before joining Reveal Media, João was a researcher at INESC-ID.
