Henry Fernandez has been at the helm of MSCI for over 20 years, leading the firm to become a top provider of indexes and risk management tools for institutional investors. Having worked at Morgan Stanley in various capacities including emerging markets business strategy, equity derivatives sales and trading, mergers and acquisitions, mortgage-backed securities and corporate finance, he brings a wealth of experience to his role. Prior to this, he was President of HispaniMedia, Inc. and founded private equity investment firm Ferco Partners, Inc. As a former diplomat at the Embassy of Nicaragua in Washington, DC, Mr. Fernandez has a unique perspective on global relations. He has an MBA from Stanford University and pursued doctoral studies in economics at Princeton University after obtaining a BA in economics from Georgetown University.
