Shyno Mathew, PhD
Shyno Mathew, PhD, is a Computational Chemical Engineer and passionate STEM educator with extensive experience in product development, data analysis, high-performance computing, and teaching. She has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
Dr. Mathew has worked as a Product Lead Software Engineer at Protein Metrics Inc., and co-founded qLogiX Entertainment as CTO. She has also worked as an adjunct faculty member at Touro College and as an instructor and STEM tutor at Columbia University, including the Girls in STEM initiative. She has organized events such as TEDx, “Engineering your style,” and “Women in Entrepreneurship Hackathon.”
Dr. Mathew is a creative problem solver and public speaker who is passionate about promoting STEM education for children, especially girls. She has a 4.0 GPA and extensive experience in conducting Molecular Dynamics simulations.
