Sudhir Tonse is an accomplished engineering leader with a passion for delivering results. With extensive experience building and leading high-impact engineering teams, Sudhir has contributed to and managed many large open-source projects, including the Netflix Cloud Platform. He has a broad background across various domains, such as shrink-wrapped products, consumer web applications, customer/developer support, and very large scale infrastructure and platforms. Additionally, Sudhir is an active member of various Silicon Valley tech communities, engaging/consulting in the area of big data and cloud migration.

Sudhir's background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science, Commerce, Electronics from National University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication from Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan. He has held roles such as Manager, Cloud Platform Engineering at Netflix, Engineering Management & Leadership at Uber, and is currently a Director of Engineering at DoorDash.

As an expert in distributed, high-scale, and fault-tolerant systems, Sudhir specializes in cloud architecture - specifically, AWS - global, multi-data center, web-scale architecture, personalization/recommendation-based systems, and big data pipelines/Machine Learning frameworks.
