M.S.W. Rita Boratav
Rita Boratav is an experienced career counselor, social worker, and case coordinator with an impressive educational background, including a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in English. With a passion for serving others and improving their lives, Rita has spent over thirty years working in the higher education and nonprofit sectors, providing career counseling and advising, job and internship search strategies, resume and cover letter writing and reviewing, job interview preparation, grant writing and research, social media marketing, and mental health and substance abuse counseling. Rita has worked in various institutions, including Cornell University, where she, among other things, created and delivered presentations, advised on gap year and nonprofit, government, teaching, and health-related fields, and coordinated grants and research. Prior to her work at Cornell, Rita worked as a Social Worker at The Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton House, among other positions in different organizations. Away from work, Rita enjoys helping people with smaller things such as babysitting, pierogi-making, and typing.
