Anku Jain, an experienced veteran in the technology industry with over 25 years of experience has been making his mark as the Managing Director of MediaTek India. MediaTek is a Taiwan based global fabless semiconductor company that is responsible for powering over 1.5 billion devices a year. Under his leadership, the company has only seen a significant growth spurt. Jain's responsibilities include heading multiple R&D business units in Noida in addition to Indian Govt relations. He has won numerable accolades for his authenticity, analytical approach, deep-dive approach, and highest level of integrity. Anku has a B. Tech degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and has also completed an executive business management course from IIM Calcutta. Jain is an adventure freak and an ardent sportsperson who enjoys long-distance running and cycling. He has also climbed to the Mt. Everest base camp. Beyond his academic pursuits, Anku passionately supports budding entrepreneurs as an angel investor and mentor. He was also a founding member of Pixtel communications and has transformed it from a services-centric technology startup to a product company, eventually leading it to getting acquired by MediaTek Inc. for intellectual property.
