Paul has been a seasoned expert in the field of internet security for more than two decades. He boasts a master’s degree in Information Assurance and a bachelor's degree in Management, backed by certifications in IT Security, such as the CISSP and PCI-ISA. Throughout his career, he has endeavored complex problem-solving and the delivery of advanced process and implementation solutions related to cloud security, PCI compliance, security operations, penetration testing, policy development/implementation, network/system monitoring, and incident response.

Paul has broad hands-on experience in process improvement, identifying strategy, and driving implementation, with proven success in delivering projects on schedule and under budget. He has established productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, backed by his exceptional communication and people skills, along with cultural and political sensitivity.

Aside from his technical expertise, Paul is active in various information security professional organizations. He was the past president and board member emeritus of the SFBay Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). Furthermore, he has used numerous security tools over the years, including vulnerability scanners, SIEM and log management solutions, CASB solutions, authentication solutions, cloud and virtualization solutions, and source code analysis tools such as WhiteHat Sentinel and Veracode.

Paul has worked with renowned institutions such as Stanford University and NASA Ames Research Ctr. - Raytheon ITSS. He has also held various roles at reputable companies such as Spin - Electric Scooter Sharing, WideOrbit, PIX System, Pandora, and Xoom Corporation.
