Fabrizio Gianfrate is a highly accomplished and experienced full professor in Health Economics, Outcome Research, HTA, Clinical Trials Methodology and Evaluation, and Policies. He is also an independent market access consultant, a well-respected columnist, and the author of over 700 publications and seven books on pharmaceutical economics and policies. In the past, he served as a member of the Pricing and Reimbursement Committee of the AIFA Italian Drug Agency, member of Regional HTA and Formulary Committees for five large Italian regions, big hospitals commission/board member, director at the Ministry of Health, responsible for WHO Italian Collaborative Centers, director of Pharmaceutical Companies Foundations, and editorial director of pharmaceutical magazines. Winner of the 2004 Cultural Award of Italian Ministry of University and Research (MIUR), he is highly knowledgeable and influential in the field of health policy, pharmacoeconomics, and pharmaceutical regulation.
