Meet Tim Hutton, a renowned computer scientist, machine learning expert, and computer vision enthusiast. With a wealth of experience spanning over a decade, Tim has spent his career building cutting-edge instruments and interesting pieces of software for various technical organizations around the world.

Hutton holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from University College London, a Master's degree in Computer Vision, Image Processing, Graphics, and Simulation (with distinction), also from University College London, and a bachelor's degree (2:1) in Computer Science from Warwick University.

As a Senior Scientist at Microsoft, Tim leverages his expertise of C++, Matlab, OpenCV, OpenCL, VTK, wxWidgets, Arduino, Python, Java, and Javascript to build innovative and intelligent software. He has previously worked at Rare Ltd as a Kinect Engineer, at Eurocom as a Research Programmer, as well as at Dacos Software GmbH as a programmer. Hutton has also served as a Research Fellow at University College London and Visitor at the Institute for Advanced Study.
