Lavinia Borcia is a trilingual Chartered Accountant and Auditor with over 15 years of experience in finance. She holds a Masters in Accounting, Control, and Audit and is an expert in asset management, structured finance, private equity, banking, and insurance. Borcia is a seasoned professional with a wealth of expertise in audit, consulting, M&A, accounting, corporate finance, structuring, consolidation, tax, and transfer pricing.

Prior to her current role as the Group Head of Finance at Comgest, Borcia served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at AXA Investment Managers, Structured Finance, where she was responsible for financial reporting, treasury, and risk management. Previously, she was a Senior Auditor at Mazars, M&A Intern at KMPG, and Financial Analyst Intern at Crédit Coopératif.

Borcia's impressive career is backed up by a solid educational foundation. She studied Expert Comptable - Commissaire aux Comptes (Chartered Certified Accountant and Auditor) at Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable (DEC), graduated with a Master's in Audit from the prestigious University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and studied Business Administration at both the MSG level at Université d'Orléans and Undergraduate level at Academia de Studii Economice din București.

In addition to her work, Borcia has also been actively involved in charitable endeavors. She was previously a Board Member at THE COMGEST FOUNDATION, a philanthropic organization founded by her current company, Comgest.
