Mike Slye has a rich experience in leadership and management, with expertise in accountancy, budgeting, financial management, and grant writing, among others. He is currently serving as the City Manager of Kaufman, Texas, overseeing the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens. In his previous roles, Mike served as Board Trustee at Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Employees Benefits Pool, Town Manager at Town of Trophy Club, City Manager at City of Burkburnett, and Finance Director and Personnel Director at City of Burkburnett, among others. His professional experience also includes being a Project Management Consultant and Budget Officer at U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, and various finance officer positions at United States Army - Europe.
