Melissa Stewart is a highly experienced GIS professional with a passion for maps and analyzing data. Her love for maps began in her childhood, watching her father study an old atlas, and has evolved into a robust career bridging the gap between raw data and advanced analytics. She earned a BS in Biology from Arizona State University, followed by a Master's degree in GIS from the University of Denver.

Melissa has held several positions throughout her career, including GIS Analyst at Colorado State Patrol, GIS Analyst at Prologis, and GIS Analyst and Business Analyst at ViaSat. She has also worked as a Strategic Planner at Schwan's Consumer Brands and a Location Data Coordinator at Tele Atlas, before moving into the geospatial field.

In her most recent roles as a Solutions Engineer for Geospatial at Propeller Aero and GeoLens LLC, she has honed her skills in data analysis, GIS, reporting, and dashboard creation. Her expertise has been utilized in fields such as natural resources, logistics, law enforcement, real estate, and business opportunities. Melissa prides herself on her ability to provide a unique perspective on data analysis, using GIS to help businesses increase profitability, automate daily processes, and learn how to utilize data efficiently.
