Lena Brook is a highly experienced sustainable food advocate with over a decade of professional work in food and agriculture, environmental health, and water campaigns. She has a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master's in environmental policy from Yale University. Lena currently leads the Food Campaigns team at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) in San Francisco, where she previously served as the Interim Director of the Food & Agriculture Program and Food Policy Advocate. Additionally, Lena has been a Steering Committee Member at Choose Health SF Campaign, a Strategic Communications Consultant at HavenBMedia, and a Senior Program Associate at SF Bay Physicians for Social Responsibility. She has worked as an independent consultant and held positions as Development Director at WorkSafe, Associate Director at Clean Water Action, and Project Manager at Sycamore Associates.
