Aaron Yip is a distinguished technologist with a passion for human rights advocacy. With a degree in Computational Media, summa cum laude, from the esteemed Georgia Institute of Technology, Yip has worked for prominent technology companies such as Houzz, Big Fish Games, and Social Construct.
Before launching his career, Yip grew up in poverty in rural Georgia, where he developed a deep interest in advocating for disadvantaged and marginalized communities. His passion for social justice led him to co-found OutBrave, a humanitarian group focused on migration and gender violence.
Yip's highly successful career reflects his ingenuity and technical prowess. He co-founded Roominnate, a technology company that was ultimately acquired by Houzz, where he co-created the innovation lab and served as co-lead director of innovation and research. Additionally, his work has served more than 200 million people.
