Gordon McMillan

Gordon McMillan is the founder of the mid-sized creative agency, McMillan, with a strong background in creative writing and advertising. He started his career as a freelance writer focusing on foreign affairs and health promotion after graduating with a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Victoria. Transitioning to ad agencies, Gordon worked on hi-tech accounts and eventually became the Creative Director of a company in Ottawa where he significantly increased billings. He then moved to New York to work on major brands like Dell Direct, Xerox, and Mercedes Benz for Lowe Direct, before returning to Ottawa to establish McMillan.

In his role as Founder and Chief Creative Officer at McMillan, Gordon McMillan influences the company's strategic direction, oversees talent acquisition, and often serves as the Creative Director for key accounts. Throughout the years, McMillan has collaborated with renowned clients such as Adobe, CA Technologies, Microsoft, Oracle, and many more, assisting in brand development and creating innovative branded experiences. Gordon McMillan's expertise lies in branding, marketing strategy, conceptual development, writing, and digital experience.
