Richard Nilsson is a seasoned entrepreneur and expert in the Technology, Luxury & Lifestyle, and (Digital) Media industries, with over two decades of experience. He has been based in Asia for about 15 years, where he has served in various capacities, including leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture-building. Currently, Richard serves as the founder and CEO of Rhino Ventures Asia, a future-focused company that ideates, invests in, builds, and operates tech ventures that can tackle different real-life problems.

Rhino Ventures Asia employs innovative technological solutions to address livelihood issues affecting humans, animals, and Mother Earth. Although the company focuses primarily on ideating, building, and owning its ventures, it occasionally invests in third-party ventures that align with its vision. Richard co-founded LifestyleAsia.com back in 2006, a premier online platform for luxury and lifestyle publishing in Asia. After establishing the platform's market presence in Hong Kong, it expanded to other countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and France. In December 2016, German media platform Hubert Burda Media bought LifestyleAsia.com, and Richard managed the sales of the company to the German-based conglomerate through their international arm, Burda International.

Richard is a graduate of INSEAD, where he studied innovation in the age of Disruption. With an MBA in Entrepreneurship/ Entrepreneurial Studies from the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, Richard is no stranger to business ventures. He also attended Östra Real Senior High School, where he pursued a High School Diploma in Economics -Business ventures. Over the years, Richard has held various titles across different organizations, including Managing Partner at RPN Capital Investment Ltd, Managing Director & Co-Founder of Lifestyle Asia, and Regional Managing Director & Head of Digital Media-Asia at Burda International Asia. He also co-founded Trade It HK Ltd, Lifestyle HK Ltd, and is a Founding Partner of CRS Investment Group Ltd.
