•	Implementation of 8 new summer camp program on 2 campuses
•	Direct responsibility for implementing budget and finical plan 
•	Responsible for the hiring and management of staff. Including the implementation of all HR  
        practices.
•	Directly responsible for all state permits and mandated paperwork.

St. Joseph's College NY

Executive Director of Summer Programs

•	General supervision of 20+ parks and facilities including: family aquatic center, indoor ice rink,    
        indoor tennis   facility, community center, marina and playgrounds
•	Responsible for making recommendations for full time employee hires, training, evaluation,  
        discipline of full time and seasonal staff. (52 Full time, 150 – 600 Seasonal)
•	Coordinate and evaluate all recreational programming, special events and summer camps
•	Accident investigation and legal preparation
•	Public Employee Safety and Health Compliance
•	Assist in the preparation and distribution of the 18M budget. Assist in the supervision of the 
        finance department for compliance with state laws
•	Implement capital projects, (Design, bid specifications, contracts, construction supervision) 
•	Approve purchase orders under board approval threshold in the absence of the superintendent
•	Cover for the duties of Superintendent in his absence

Great Neck Park District

Deputy Superintedent

•	Oversee Park District cultural arts center. Consisting of after school programs for children, live 
        entertainment programs, movies and adult activities
•	Organize community activities for youth, seniors and families
•	Coordinate park district special celebrations and events
•	Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, recommending, scheduling, training, evaluating, 
        disciplining and overall supervision of seasonal staff
•	Coordinate park districts comprehensive recreation program in neighborhood parks. 
•	Oversee Summer Preschool Camp, Sailing Camp, Day Camp, Nature Program, Sled Hill and after 
        school activities
•	Assist the Risk Manager in ensuring the safety of facilities
•	Conduct playground inspections and make recommendations for maintenance and repairs
•	Manage the Park District’s central registration department
•	Work as the Park Districts computer software administrator
•	Conduct CPR and First Aid training for staff

Recreation Supervisor

•	Constructed activity schedules for groups, specialist and campers flex schedules 
•	Create new activities and coordinate special events
•	Facilitate staff training for over 250 employees (group dynamics, children’s dynamics  
        and laws)
•	Coordinate paper work for Board of Health and American Camping Association Accreditation.
•	Supervise program budget of $800,000 +
•	Program computer databases and manage camp administrative office including billing and  
        collections
•	Work as a liaison between town and camp. Assist town on an as needed basis.
