Benjamin Chilcott is a seasoned consultant, serial entrepreneur, and investor, with over 25 years of experience in the business world. He is widely known for his ability to connect people and businesses, and for his skills in enabling and catalyzing growth. Benjamin is deeply passionate about startups and new business models, and he loves supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. He has a keen eye for spotting opportunities, and he excels at joining the dots that others don't see.

Benjamin's professional journey began after his studies in Politics at the University of Exeter and his A-levels at St. Joseph's College, Birkfield, Ipswich. He started his career as a consultant at Dimension Data, where he gained deep experience in the tech sector. He went on to found his own internet business in 1996, which did not succeed, but taught him invaluable lessons about entrepreneurship. He then worked for an e-commerce consultancy during the tech bubble burst, which gave him insights into the pitfalls of that period. This led him to found a business consultancy, which he sold to global Marketing Services Company iris, where he sat on the board and helped sell the company to Samsung.

Throughout his career, Benjamin has been involved with multiple organizations, both as a member of their boards and as an investor. These include Sweet Analytics, MyMynd, Location Sciences, Manufacture 2030, Innovation Gateway, Camelot, Pricing Solutions Ltd, Savio, Opera Solutions, yReceipts, and MatchPint. He is currently a Strategic Advisor at Iris Strategy.

Outside of work, Benjamin enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his passion for cricket. He coaches at Rowledge CC and likes watching and playing chess with his daughter.
