Kęstutis Morkūnas, PhD, is a seasoned business development professional who specializes in discovering innovation, focusing it, and helping it grow, creating new products and generating new income and profit streams for startup companies. He is a product development strategist and an influencer who bridges the gap between academia and industry via a tested and effective technology transfer process. Kęstutis is a savvy negotiator with expertise in intellectual property and consulting. He is a former Head of EIT InnoEnergy HUB Lithuania at InnoEnergy and a former Member at Lithuanian Business Angel Network LitBAN, among other impressive roles. Kęstutis holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Technology from Kaunas University of Technology. He has also served in various leadership positions in Lithuania, including as a Board member of the Lithuanian geocachers association, a member of the Municipal Council at Kaunas City, and as the founder of the Social PFM project "Kur dingo pinigai?".
