Justin Bennett is a seasoned DevOps professional with extensive experience in building complex and stable environments for customer-facing and production services. He is passionate about evaluating and implementing emerging technologies to improve process and stability, and has been utilizing common core DevOps toolsets for many years. In addition, Justin has a strong understanding of configuration management and provisioning automation tools, which has enabled him to build and deploy solutions rapidly and efficiently. He believes in working closely with developers to establish best practices that create a solid foundation for success and repeatability in any live environment.

Justin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in different organizations, the most recent being Principal Engineer DevOps at Palo Alto Networks. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Expanse, Operational Intelligence and Monitoring DevOps Engineer at Qualys, and as an Online Security and DevOps Consultant working for himself. Justin has also held leadership positions, including Director of Technical Operations at Super Evil Megacorp, Technical Operations Supervisor at DreamWorks Animation, Director of Game Operations at Gazillion Entertainment, and Director of Information Technology/Game Operations at Slipgate Ironworks. He also served as Manager of Information Technology/Facilities at Activision, Inc.
