Mark Batsiyan is a seasoned partner and COO at Inspired Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage startups. With a deep interest in business model innovation and predictive analytics, Mark has an impressive track record in the finance, entrepreneurship, and social enterprise sectors. He attended Princeton University where he studied Philosophy and later studied MBA, Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Social Enterprise at Columbia Business School.

Mark has held various positions in different organizations that range from senior management to consulting. Before joining Inspired Capital, he worked as a partner at Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures where he was responsible for sourcing and executing venture investment opportunities. He has also worked at LearnVest serving as the Head of Strategy, Senior Director of Business Development, and Director of Business Development contributing to the establishment of one of the leading financial planning platforms for women in the US. Previously, Mark was a senior associate in Corporate Strategy and Development at TIAA and started his career as an analyst at Solas Capital Management and Oliver Wyman.
