He has also overseen sales of consumer products, such as Mainline and Natural/Organics, Beverages (CSD & New Age), Spirits, HBC & HBA, OTC, Bakery Confectionery, Frozen foods, Snacks, Pasta's, Non-Diary Beverages, HH Cleaning, Soups, and Baby Food.
Malave is a graduate of Lincoln University, where he studied Industrial & Organizational Psychology and majored in Spanish. He has held leadership positions at Elite Venture Brands, Inc., Good Tastes, Inc., The Hain-Celestial Group, WCM-Partners, GlobeXbrands, Inc. (Start-Up), and Miller Brewing Company. Prior to this, he was the US Manager of Retail at Colgate-Palmolive and held various positions at Pepsico, including Market Development Manager, District Manager, BI&E Channel Manager, and Account Development Representative.
Malave's approach to growing a business starts with new product/service development, followed by go-to-market capabilities, strong supply chains, and financing for viability to expand markets, products, and talent build-out. He is passionate about growing organizational capabilities, EBITDA, and sales rolling out a US to global multi-site driven organization while facing rapid growth changes.
