Shelton McElroy
Shelton McElroy is a highly skilled and accomplished professional with years of experience serving communities to effect positive change. With a focus on education as a critical lever, Shelton has honed an impressive array of leadership, networking, public speaking, interpersonal and assessment abilities. At Lindsey Wilson College, McElroy studied both a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and a Master of Education & Human Development in Counseling. Holding various professional licensures and certification, she has worked across a range of roles, including Community Mobilizer for the Louisville Metro Affordable Housing Trust Fund, Substance Abuse Counselor for the Jefferson Alcohol & Drug Addiction Center, and Career Pathway Manager for Jefferson Community & Technical College. Their most recent role has been Deputy Director of Operations with The Bail Project. With strong skills in event planning, organizational development and Microsoft OS, Shelby is well-versed in working with diverse groups of people, assessing and addressing complex issues that impact communities, and inspiring and training others to achieve their full potential.
