Dawn Pier is a well-rounded professional with a diverse career background. She holds an MSc in Environmental Biology and a BScH in Biology, both acquired from Queen's University. She has worked as a Freelance Author at The Scuttlefish and a Property and Animal Caretaker at Independent. Dawn has also held the role of Developmental Editor at Independent and have written for The Rumpus and served as a Reader on the publication. Additionally, she has been a Research Associate at Environmental Sciences Group and an Associate Real Estate Agent at Agua Clara Properties. Dawn boasts leadership experience, having served as the Cofounder and Executive Director of Amigos para la Conservacion de Cabo Pulmo, A.C. and worked as the Regional Blogger at Baja.com.
