Michelle Poorte, a highly skilled and educated individual, brings a diverse background in both technical engineering and film production. Graduating from Technische Universiteit Delft, Michelle holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Process & Energy Technologies, and Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management. Additionally, Michelle earned a degree in Regisseur documentaire, Film at Amsterdam Film School, showcasing her artistic side.
Michelle has held various roles throughout her career, including her current position as Project Manager at Vattenfall. Prior to this role, she worked as a Project Manager Associate and Project Analyst at Vattenfall, providing her with extensive experience in project management. Furthermore, she excelled as a Transitieversneller at Talent voor Transitie, helping organizations with strategic transitions into sustainable energy methods.
Her career started with internships and academic associations, including experiences at TenneT and Eneco, serving on the Community of Energy Top Talents, and participating in the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School. Additionally, she was a member of the Executive and Advisory Board at K.S.V. Sanctus Virgilius and TU Delft Energy and Industry club.
