Lerato M-Ngobeni is an experienced sustainability specialist and corporate executive with an impressive background in strategic sustainability projects. With a qualification in Political Science and Government from Johnson C. Smith University, Lerato has worked with companies such as Murray & Roberts, African Access Holdings and Royal Bafokeng Nation, initiating and managing various corporate responsibility projects. She managed and coordinated Rustenburg's readiness for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and also edits the book, "Bafokeng 2010 FIFA World Cup Journey," which details the legacy of the FIFA World Cup for the Bafokeng people. Lerato has also served as a non-executive director of Sci-bono Discovery Centre and Maths Centre for Professional Teachers. She also founded Civics Academy, an initiative for young people which aims to facilitate constructive involvement in democracy. Lerato is now a Program Manager at Harvard University's Center for African Studies, Africa Office established to facilitate Harvard's activities on the African continent.
