With a background in Business Administration, Computer Technology, and Marketing from the University of North Texas, he has built and maintained large-scale database environments for various companies in different industries. Rick is well-versed in both on-premise and cloud-based solutions and is keen on exploring new technologies to create better database landscapes.

Before joining Medtronic as a Field Sales Engineer, Rick was a Principal Database Administrator, Principal Solutions Architect, and Professional Services Database Specialist at the same company. Moreover, he was a MCS Consultant for Data Insights Domain at Microsoft, DBA Team Lead at Acxiom, Owner and Lead Consultant at Dixon Software Services, and Senior Consultant at IBM. Previously, he was a Senior ERP Consultant and Developer at Dun & Bradstreet Software and a Systems Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (formerly E.D.S).
