Christopher Tokita
Christopher Tokita is a computational biologist/social scientist who employs computational modeling and data science to examine social networks, collective behavior, and information spread in social systems. He studied Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at Yale University, earned a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Princeton University and was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at Princeton. Tokita's research spans from ant colonies to social media behavior. In addition, he has been involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at the graduate school of Princeton University and worked as a Policy Intern for the New Jersey State Legislature and as a Science Policy Fellow at IDA Science and Technology Policy Institute. Overall, he is devoted to applying his technical background to the public good.
