Shetal Shah, a dynamic and innovative engineering leader, has an extensive background in product development and operations, vendor management, DevOps, and agile transformation. Currently, as the Director of Engineering at Synopsys Inc, Shah heads the engineering tools and operations organization with a global team of over 65 engineers. Under her leadership, the team focuses on software engineering tools development and manages over 100 CI/CD pipelines for build, test, performance, and release engineering. Shah also manages 20 product lines that generate over $1.2 billion in annual Synopsys revenues.

Shah's innovative and execution-focused mindset has played a crucial role in developing a team culture that strives to automate everything and adopt a "yes-if" attitude. During her tenure, she increased engineering productivity and optimized operations through the implementation of scalable processes, best practices, and cutting-edge automation solutions using cloud, data, and ML platforms, saving the company $50 million in costs.

Shah has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology Surat and has also studied at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Previously, Shah has held senior management positions at Synopsys Inc such as Staff Software Engineering Lead for Release and Operations and Engineering Manager for Tools and Infrastructure.
