Bhavna Malik

Bhavna Malik is a highly motivated Cancer biologist with a strong background in oncology target discovery, preclinical small molecule drug discovery, and MOA studies.

She has hands-on experience in developing biochemical and cell based assays, as well as evaluating drug target engagement and characterizing mechanisms of action of small molecule inhibitors.

Bhavna possesses excellent communication and leadership skills, effectively collaborating within a matrix environment.

Education-wise, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and a Master's degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Panjab University.

Professionally, Bhavna has worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Gilead Sciences and held positions at renowned organizations like Bristol-Myers Squibb, The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Institute of Biomarker Research among others.

Her diverse experience includes roles as a Research Fellow, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Scientist, and Graduate Student across various esteemed institutions in the field.

Previously, she has leveraged her skills as a Summer Intern at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and as a Pharmacovigilance scientist at Quantum Solutions, India.
