Charged with oversight of products within the Cardiac Assist business unit of this diversified international medical device company. Global P&L responsibility for $76 million including disposable products and capital equipment. Led marketing initiatives and personnel in direct sales offices in U.S., Holland, France, and U.K. Coordinated marketing efforts of several distributor offices in Europe and Japan.
- Overhauled product strategy and rationalized 29 disparate projects to six. Reorganized development teams and marketing around clear goals, resulting in new product launches.
- Authored and managed the execution of the strategic marking plans for the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
- Grew sales from approximately $50 million to $76 million in two years.
- Attained 83% market share. Achieved record product revenue every year by increasing sales approximately 14% each year in mature market, while maintaining average sales price.
