Shobin Uralil
Shobin Uralil is a tech startup enthusiast and experienced investment banker with a strong background in corporate development and M&A. With eight years of technology startup experience, he has worked in companies focused on energy auditing software, data analytics, and technology. During his time at MIT Sloan School of Management, Uralil co-founded kWhOURS, an energy auditing software company, and served as Founder & CEO. Following the acquisition of kWhOURS, he became Vice President, Operations at Retroficiency, where the mission was to scale energy efficiency via data analytics and technology. With a passion for challenges, Uralil is now the co-founder and COO of Lively, a health savings account company focused on helping people invest in their health.
Education-wise, Uralil completed his MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management and holds a BS in Business Administration, Finance, and Technology Management from Georgetown University - The McDonough School of Business.
Throughout his career, Uralil has held various leadership positions in multiple organizations. He was a former Steering Committee member at The CFO Leadership Council - Silicon Valley Chapter and Formerly held the position of Director, Strategic Initiatives at Retroficiency. Moreover, Uralil was a former Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston and a Formerly Summer Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions at Prudential Financial.
