Cristina De Persis is a highly educated Reliability Engineer, Bayesian Statistics modeller, and former Research and Teaching Assistant. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering from Università di Roma Tor Vergata, she has extensive experience in reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety engineering, including her work with companies like MBDA and AVIO. Additionally, De Persis has lent her expertise to the European Space Agency as a Visiting Researcher and demonstrated her teaching prowess as an Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin. Her passion for space studies led her to complete the International Space University's Space Studies Program, and she also co-founded a startup in Dublin.
