Michael Chermak is a highly accomplished healthcare industry leader, entrepreneur, and investor with over three decades of experience. He has raised over $200 million in capital and built several successful enterprises, both private and public, in the medical device, healthcare services, and information solutions sectors. Chermak's expertise in board governance, startups, and fundraising has earned him renowned recognition as a sought-after consultant for organizations across North America, Asia, and Europe.

One of Chermak's most successful ventures is Healthdemographics, Inc., a healthcare predictive data and decision support business that he founded and led as CEO. The company had over 1,200 clients worldwide, and it was regularly cited by the Wall Street Journal. Chermak sold the company to Medirisk in 1997.

In 1998, Chermak co-founded and led Medibuy.com, an Internet healthcare supply vendor that raised over $140 million in its first 18 months of operation backed by leading VCs and institutional investors, including Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Oak, and Alianz. Medibuy acquired the ecommerce initiatives of two leading GPOs, Premier, and Columbia HCA.

Chermak has also served as CEO, Chairman, and board member of various companies in China, Europe, and the US, including Bridgetech Holdings International, OZOP Surgical Corp, and Cytta Corp.

Chermak studied Finance at The University of New Mexico - Robert O. Anderson School of Management. Outside of work, he and his wife run a 501(c)(3) organization focused on animal rescue and supporting animal rescue organizations.
