Joelle Fernandez is a talented and diverse individual who has pursued various fields of study and careers. With a Bachelor of Arts in History, Special Education, and Holistic Health from San Francisco State University and a Certificate in Holistic Health, she has a strong foundation in both education and wellness. Fernandez continued her education by studying Communication Design at CUNY New York City College of Technology, Front End Web Development at Flatiron School, and Software Engineering at General Assembly, where she received an Opportunity Fund Fellowship.

Currently, Fernandez is a Software Engineer at FloQast, a role that allows her to utilize her skills in both software development and quality assurance. In the past, she has worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at FloQast and as a Senior Software System Analyst at Journal Technologies.

Fernandez has also been involved in education and art. She has worked with the NYC Department of Education as an Art Liaison and Special Educator, as well as with the Metropolitan Museum of Art as an Astor Educator. In addition, she has worked as an Educational Advisor at the San Francisco College Access Center (SFCAC), an Academic Tutor at the Making Waves Education Program, a Team Leader at Jumpstart, and a New Student Coordinator & Peer Advisor at San Francisco State University.

Fernandez’s education and professional experience have given her a unique and valuable perspective that allows her to excel in a variety of settings. Her passion for holistic health, education, and technology make her a well-rounded and talented individual.
