Erin Routon
Erin Routon is a research professional with a PhD in cultural anthropology from Cornell University and a graduate minor in Latina/o studies. She has extensive experience conducting ethnographic research with various non-profit and advocacy organizations. Her expertise lies in immigrant detention, legal advocacy, and humanitarianism in the United States. Erin has also served as a preceptor at Harvard University and taught as an instructor and graduate teaching assistant at both Cornell University and the University of California, Riverside. Her education includes an MA in religious studies from UC Riverside and a BA in English from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Prior to her academic career, Erin held a variety of positions, including recruiting coordinator at athenahealth, receptionist at Essex Investment Management Co, showroom receptionist at Allsteel Furniture, and barista at Starbucks Coffee in Hawaii.
