Hooks Johnston is a highly accomplished business leader and board director with extensive experience in public and private technology companies. With a focus on high-growth markets and companies, he has been involved in numerous M&A transactions and initial public offerings across a broad range of high-tech industries including enterprise software, SaaS, Big Data, IT infrastructure, mobility, e-commerce, and digital media, as well as logistics, supply chain, and healthcare. Johnston has served on over 20 corporate boards, including Global Logistics and InforMax, and several non-profit boards, including Five Talents and Virginia Center for Innovative Technology.

Johnston studied at Brown University earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics, and later studied at Harvard Business School where he earned a Master of Business Administration.
